Some very exciting news!
Chloé is going to be a big sister in October. Woohoo! The baby is due October 22. We don't know if Chloé will have a little brother or sister but we are sure that she will be a wonderful older sister. She is already practicing. She loves to dress and undress her dolly's and change their diapers and feed them.
Everything is going really well so far with the pregnancy. It was a little tough for abour six weeks at the beginning. I had quite a bit of morning sickness and I was very tired. When I was pregnant with Chloé I was able to rest whenever I wanted. This time I had to make meals for Chloé when I didn't even want to look at food. But now that I am in the 20th week I am feeling great and full of energy. I am taking advantage of this energy to prepare the new babies room and clothes. While going through all of Chloe's old clothes I have become aware of how spoiled Chloé has been. If the baby is a girl we will definately save a lot of money on clothes.
We had an ultrasound about a month ago and Chloé was able to see her baby brother or sister. The docter printed a photo and Chloé found it in my bag and said baby, baby! When I ask her what is in my belly she say's baby. We are not so sure what she understands but we are trying to help her as much as we can. It is so abstract even for us until the baby is born, I can only imagine how abstract it must be for her.
